The olives are 100% Koroneiki from the sustainable groves of Sfakopigadi near Kissamos, close to the sea, where the Cheretaki family has farmed organically for generations. They are harvested early and cold-pressed within hours, with temperature control during processing and rapid filtration afterwards.
The result is a harmonious flavour palette: an intensely fruity aroma of green herbs and freshly picked olives, followed by a subtly peppery aftertaste. The polyphenol content is well over double the EU threshold for polyphenol-rich olive oil.
A tin keeps light out and protects the oil better than glass. Ideal for large households, restaurants and conscious kitchens. Decant into a smaller bottle for daily use and store the tin in a cool, dark place.
