The Olio del Bianco comes entirely from the hilly region of Assisi in Umbria, an area recognized worldwide for the production of DOP (Protected Designation of Origin) extra virgin olive oil.
Centuries-old tradition since the 16th century
Many of the olive groves that today constitute a vital resource for this region were planted about 500 years ago at the behest of the Pope. Since then, they have become an indispensable resource for all of Umbria.
